Debby Akam is a printmaker, painter and video artist based near Penrith. Paintings and woodcut prints use saturated colour, and repeating motifs.
Overlaid slabs of decorative patterning and natural forms link the immediate environment with a sense of connection with other places and living things, and include images taken from the natural environment at night.
