I gained a BA (Hons) degree and Masters degree in Contemporary Fine Art at The University of Cumbria. I work with whatever medium is appropriate for the topic being explored but my preferred medium is glass for its versatility and vibrancy of colour.

Jenni Payne is a founding member of the award winning Florence Paintmakers, a small co-operative producing a range of artists materials with the ramaining stocks of haematite from Florence Mine, as well as other locally-sourced pigments. She likes to experiment with a range of materials and delights in creating images with stuff from the land.
Chris graduated 8 years ago with a degree in ceramics and then moved to Cumbia She has exhibited widely in the north – outdoors and in unusual places,last year on the hills above Ullswater. This year has been very busy with a photographic exhibition “Derleiction” on abandoned buildings and recently a large installation in Carlisle Cathedral of hundreds of bone china dead flies on mirrors, also currently work at Wray Castle NT on algae.
