I work as a poet and artist with schools and community groups. I use acrylics, pastels and felt pens and fine liners in different aspects of my work. Sometimes I put my poems onto canvas with acrylics.
Art has been a passion of mine since childhood, having graduated from art school I travelled and now I live in Keswick and continue on my own journey of discovery painting.

Through my love of the local countryside and walking, I see the landscape in blocks of colour and this is reflected in my paintings. The Lake District is a very special place for me. I use to come here when I was a young girl and and I now bring my children to this wonderful place and we walk the fells. I would be delighted to be part of such a wonderful project. Read More

I am a textile atrist who works primarily with animal skulls and bones. I embellish my pieces with fabrics and upcycled materials, including hand waving some parts. I mount the pieces on reclaimed wood or using unique stands and scenes as bases. Read More
I have been inspired by the artist Joanna Basford who creates doodles for adults to colour in. I want to design my own giant doodle using imagery relevant to the Lake District. I plan to paint the sheep electric pink, and paint a giant doodle in blue and silver. Read More
